Dr. Miljanich was previously Senior Medical Director at Elan Pharmaceuticals and has over 18 years experience in pharmaceutical research, development, and commercialization. He played key roles - from invention to launch - in every facet of the successful development and marketing of the analgesic PRIALTÆ. Dr. Miljanich was Assistant Professor of Neurobiology of the University of Southern California, a post-doctoral fellow in Biochemistry and Biophysics at the University of California, San Francisco, and received a PhD in chemistry from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
