Principal, Wallace Ranch Consulting. Dr. Wallace has over 20 years experience developing a broad range of small molecule pharmaceuticals and biologics, beginning successively as Director, Clinical Therapeutics, then Sr. Director, Clinical Development, then Vice President, Clinical Development at Warner-Lambert/Parke-Davis. Following that he was Vice President, Clinical and Regulatory Affairs at Athena Neurosciences and became Senior Vice President, Clinical & Regulatory Affairs at Elan Pharmaceuticals with Elan’s acquisition of Athena. Immediately prior to starting his own clinical and regulatory affairs consulting firm, he was Executive Vice President, Clinical Development & Regulatory Affairs at Titan Pharmaceuticals. At Elan he led the design and execution of several drug development programs, including the venom peptide, Prialt (ziconotide), for severe chronic pain, and the monoclonal antibody, Tysabri (natalizumab), for MS, RA, and Crohn’s disease. Dr. Wallace has also held several academic positions, including Assistant Professor in Neurology, Yale University School of Medicine, Director of the Stroke Treatment Center and Director of the Neurovascular Diagnostic Laboratories, West Haven Veterans Administration Medical Center, and Clinical Assistant Professor, College of Pharmacy, University of Michigan. Dr. Wallace received his M.D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and is a Diplomate in Neurology of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
